Localized file support for internationalized versions of Nitix

Question
When trying to store files on a Nitix server using localized character sets, the files do not appear as I created and saved them. What is the problem?
Explanation
Currently, only ASCII character sets are supported for Windows file sharing. Non-ASCII character sets, such as MS932 and SHIFT_JIS, are unsupported.
